Cow Hill Kennels and Cattery
Cow Hill Kennels and Cattery is based in Grimsargh, near Preston. They have a Local Authority 3-star rating and have been voted one of the top three kennels in Preston by The Best Three Rated.
I started working with Cow Hill Kennels in 2022, work includes managing their website, writing blog posts and Facebook content and paid advertising.
The Challenge
As part of the new Animal Activities Licensing Regulations 2018 (AAL), which came into force on 1st October 2018 every licensed business boarding kennels, boarding catteries and dog daycare must apply for a license from their local authority.
However, in February 2022 the local authority guidance was updated meaning that dog and cat boarding premises would be subject to more rigorous controls.
In order for the kennel to receive a 3-star rating, Cow Hill Kennels were advised to upgrade their policy documents to ensure all the local authority requirements were met.
The Outcome
I was approached by Paul and Jennifer Holland to produce a 38 page policy document from scratch as well as some editable customer consent forms.
The Results
The policy documents have been added to their website along with the editable forms.
Since then, we have implemented a brand new CRM and marketing automation system which will store customer (and pet) information electronically, along with their signed consent forms.
Work is now on an ongoing basis and includes maintaining and improving the system as well as the creation of new campaigns going forward.
